One of the best things about living in Prague is that travelling around Europe is very easy to do. Prague is very centrally located which makes it a great homebase for those inclined to explore the continent. If you are coming from a large and spacious country, it is an amazing experience to only travel for a few hours and be in a completely new country. If you are taking a train or a bus, it is about 4 hours to Berlin, Bratislava, Vienna; 8 hours to Budapest, Warsaw, Venice, Munich, Croatia, Slovenia; and a 2 hour plane flight to Oslo, London, Greece, Madrid, Paris, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Tallinn. The travel is also very affordable and all of these locations serve as great destinations for a long weekend or a several week holiday!
